A New Earth is Emerging

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life Purpose, by Eckhart Tolle is a wonderful journey in understanding the spiritual awakening I and many others believe is occurring worldwide.

Yes, you CAN break free

Regular people like you and I have endured a world of tyrants (who expect the masses to live in servitude, whether it be the kings of yesteryear or today’s corporations and bankers) for centuries.

I believe the only way to bring about real change is for you and I to finally find ourselves by looking within as we abandon the “economic bubble” we’ve allowed ourselves to be ensnared in.

As we lose our materialism and gain our enlightenment, we will finally overthrow the tyrants and the “Matrix” they’ve built for us.

We’re on the doorstep of a new consciousness for humankind, which will bring us true freedom (not the quasi-freedom our media and so-called government “leaders” insist we possess).

In A New Earth, Tolle brings to your consciousness a way to achieve your inner transformation which helps heal not only your own soul but so many others around you.

I’m convinced that more people than ever before are tired of their economic and spiritual/religious shackles.

We are all ready to move beyond those who use these two systems as a means of control as we truly create a better world.

I’ve decided to re-read Eckhart Tolle’s book. As I do, I’ll chronicle some of my favorite passages as well as videos of Tolle himself talking with you. Therefore, this page will be a work in progress. Feel free to re-visit often for my updates…

Recognizing Your Ego

“An essential part of the awakening is the recognition of the unawakened you, the ego as it thinks, speaks and acts, as well as the recognition of the collectively conditioned mental processes that perpetuate the unawakened state.

…unless you know the basic mechanics behind the workings of the ego, you won’t recognize it, and it will trick you into identifying with it again and again.

This means it takes you over, an impostor pretending to be you.

...the act of recognition itself is one of the ways in which awakening happens.

When you recognize the unconsciousness in you, that which makes the recognition possible is the arising consciousness, is awakening.

You cannot fight against the ego and win, just as you cannot fight against darkness. The light of consciousness is all that is necessary. You are that light.” (pp. 7-8)
