Attracting Abundance: Vital to Your Inner Peace and Happiness

Attracting abundance is all about your mindset.

I used to rush through life trying to get to what I thought was success: Making a lot of money.

I tried all kinds of business opportunities and got "had" more often than I'd like to admit.

The money didn't come until I actually began to slow things down and learn more about who I am inside.

As I begin to slow down, enjoy the moment I'm in, make peace with where I'm at right now, the outside success is starting to materialize.

I hope you can gain from my experience. If you feel stuck. If you feel like you just can't seem to make things work and you keep getting the short end of the stick, please start looking at how you're thinking.

Are you working like crazy but getting nowhere? Can you remember the last six months or is it just a blur? If so, you're not in the right mindset for attracting abundance. There's a whole six year period of my life that I barely remember because I was "go, go, go" all the time.

Learn from me. It's not about working 12-15 hour days on your dreams. It's about attracting abundance into your life by working smarter toward where you dream of getting to.

It's about living in the now.

Cherish this very moment. Think abundantly. Allow your dreams to come to you rather than chasing them down.

It's a much more relaxed state of living. Your whole being feels more inner peace. Relax! You'll get there if you don't focus on tomorrow so much.

Focus on what is most important "right now". And sometimes that is to forget about work, success, getting ahead, etc and just sitting down to read or think. Learn about you.

You go about attracting abundance into your life by letting go of this modern idea of multi-tasking and working all the time. You've forgotten how to enjoy life. Your spiritual being is neglected. It's time to feed your inner needs with a mindset of "let it all flow".

Here's an example of "attracting abundance" from my life.

There's a man named Ed who's almost always outside a local convenience store I go to.

I probably saw him there for at least a year before I ever talked to him.

Our eyes would meet a lot and I would always wonder why he was there and what happened to him.

One day I came out of the store with some change and just gave it to him. I told him that he and I have seen each other for a long time and I didn't even know his name.

He smiled a huge smile, stuck out his hand, shook my hand and said, "My name is Ed. Thank you so much for helping me. It's for a good cause. I won't be here forever."

Now, I don't know if he'll be there forever. I hope he gets his life turned around. But you know what? It just felt good to make the connection with him. I see many people ignore him just as I used to do with that "air of judgement" about them.

But the more I learn about how we're all connected to one another, the more I wonder why we see fit to "judge" anyone.

How is this tying in to attracting abundance?

I talk elsewhere on my site about the limiting beliefs I grew up with when it came to money and how it kept abundance out of my life. I've found that this very small act of giving Ed a couple of bucks here and there as I see him has helped me more than it probably helps him.

It's not the money that's important here. It's the feeling I get. It's that feeling of abundance, or bountifulness.

Giving.

Realizing that Ed is just as much an extenstion of my spirit as anyone else I know. Realizing that this world will never be "whole" until we all learn to think this way about everyone and everything around us.

I think it helps me in attracting abundance because it puts me in a mindset of "giving" which is also a mindset of "receiving". Many times after seeing Ed I'll get great ideas while driving home for my websites or music or how to help someone else.

If you're struggling right now - spiritually, financially, physically, mentally - I hope you can take something from my thoughts on "attracting abundance" into your life. Think about whether you are placing blame for your issues "out there". And then ask yourself if that is really true.

Are sinister outside forces causing your pain or is it coming from inside you? What thought processes are limiting you? Are your thoughts leading you through a life of abundance and inner peace or one where you feel as if you're "lacking" in many ways?

I feel that if you're very honest with yourself, you'll find the answers are within and have been all along! Trust those feelings. Dig deep. Ask yourself for the answers and they will come.

You could be the opposite. You may have attained great material wealth and abundance but are feeling empty inside. I see countless examples of people gaining material success without the spirit of attracting abundance.

This world can be very conducive to "getting things" but feeling all wrong inside at the same time.

There's nothing wrong with attaining "material" success. The nice car, house, etc. But make sure you don't trick yourself into thinking that once you have those things you'll become magically happy and fulfilled.

If you're not fulfilled in the pursuit of those things, it won't happen overnight after you achieve them.

My brother, Dan, told me about Dr. Mihali Csikszentmihalyi recently.

Dr. Mihali used to be the chair of the psychology department at the University of Chicago and spent much of his life researching "happiness". He's boiled happiness down to something he calls the flow experience. Here's what you experience when "in the flow":

1) You are totally and ecstatically absorbed in what you're doing.

2) You possess great inner clarity. You know in every moment what to do, and you know immediately whether you've done it right or not.

3) You know that your skills can meet the challenges of a situation, not that they are less than the situation demands, in which case you feel anxious, or more, in which case you are bored.

4) You are serene. You forget your problems, expanding beyond your ego's bounds.

5) Time speeds up. Hours seem like minutes.

6) You look for no reward beyond that inherent in the activity itself.

That's Living in the Now! Letting it flow! Attracting abundance!

Achieving life abundance isn't something you "go get".

As I've mentioned before, it's something you achieve by discovering and identifying what will make you feel fulfilled with inner peace and then going about it in such a way where you're attracting abundance and success to you.

Change your life,
