Contentment, Inner Peace and Abundance Are Possible For You

Do you have a sense of contentment about your life? Or, do you wake up each day with that feeling of dissatisfaction about who you are or where your life is headed?

If so, I have good news for you, maybe a new way to look at things and a sense of hope. The bad news, of course, is that you're unhappy right now. The good news? The good news, also, is that you're unhappy with the way things are.

Why do I say that? Because, I've met many people in my life that feel the discontentment you're feeling but never do anything about it. You're obviously different because you're on my site trying to find some answers to your pain.

You're frustrated because you seek inner peace, abundance and a feeling of contentment in your life, but it just seems so far away.

I Understand Your Pain

I know intimately the hurt you're going through. For the first 30+ years of my life, I never felt contentment. Sure, there were moments of happiness, and, in comparison to many other people in this world, I never had it very rough.

I grew up with loving parents. They never pressured me about my life choices. They might not have always agreed, but they let me grow in my own way. I always knew I had their support. If I got in trouble, they were there to help. I don't have a "I was abused or had to struggle mightily" type background story to my life.

But, for the early part of my life, I think I was almost haunted by my inner drive to achieve, succeed and "be more". I never allowed myself to "stop and smell the roses".

I didn't really understand the concept of contentment. I wanted to be in that state of mind, but I was always so absorbed with making more money, achieving the next goal, etc. I never lived in the present moment, always so focused on what I had to get done.

Does any of this sound familiar to you? Do you find it difficult to enjoy the present moment because you think you need more of "whatever"? There's always more to get done, make better or accomplish, isn't there?

Inner Peace Is Closer Than You Think

I mentioned earlier how you may feel that inner peace, abundance and contentment are so far away for you. That's what I used to think. I thought contentment would come to me after I made my fortune or accomplished all the great things I envisioned for myself.

Over time, however, I began to learn that no amount of money or accomplishment ever made me feel any differently. I'd accomplish a goal and instead of feeling contentment or inner peace, I was worrying about the next thing to do.

What finally helped me with this contentment issue? I found the answer to feeling inner peace when I focused on my spiritual growth. I learned the importance of acceptance.

I learned how to quiet my mind so that I could truly live inside each present moment of my life. Getting in touch with the higher, spiritual part of my being taught me that I'm perfect just the way I am right now in this moment.

I know that, at first, this can sound like a bunch of "out there, mumbo jumbo". I always find it difficult to explain how I've learned to balance feeling contentment with how things are and trying to accomplish more goals.

All I can encourage you to do is study the above links I've provided, invest time in your own spiritual growth and find the answers the way I did.

You'll find the answer to contentment when you finally look within yourself and understand the battle raging between your ego self and your higher self. Right now, you're being ruled by the ego part of you.

When your higher self emerges as the dominant you, I promise that you'll find contentment and inner peace. You'll discover what you need for a life of abundance.

Change your life,

Matt
