How to Embrace Fear and Let Go
Did you know that to embrace fear and let go is to begin living once again?

I’d like to discuss with you first what fear does to you, then talk about this idea of embracing it, and finally, what happens as you release fear from your mind.
I emphasize your mind because, yes, fear is all in your mind. Pretty much everything you’re afraid of has a solution but your mind is keeping you from discovering it.
Embrace Fear and Let Go When You’re Afraid…
Fear can either paralyze you or drive you into actions which only serve to bring on more fear and anxiety.
When fear hits your mind, your mind begins to race with all the awful things that could happen to you.
As your mind races faster and faster, many times your body slows down. Your anxiety causes you to become unproductive.
On the other hand, you may find that your fear brings to mind all types of actions you should take in defense of the apprehension you’re feeling.
Instead of thinking from the paradigm of a clear mind, your fear causes mistakes and bad decisions which only bring regret later on.
When you have no defense against it, fear simply takes you over.
Embrace Fear and Let Go When You Find Acceptance…
So what might happen if from now on, when you feel the familiar shrieks of “I’m afraid!” in your mind, you instead say, “Hey, there’s that fear thing again. Yup, there it is and I’m gonna really feel it this time…”
Think about it for a second… when you allow fear to take you over, you’re fighting it.
Which only serves to make the mind believe it’s the most important thing in the world and then you’re possessed once again ;-)
Instead, recognize the emotion, accept that you’re afraid… just embrace that feeling for a few moments.
Then, allow that feeling to slip away… just let it go.

Embrace Fear and Let Go When You Release it All…
All right, did I say this was easy as pie? No, it’s not. But it’s the only thing that I’ve found that works.
By allowing yourself to really feel the fear, you’re gaining control of your mind rather than being out of control and possessed by your ego’s need to hold onto an identifying emotion at all costs.
What begins to happen as you “rise above” the emotion is that you begin to “see” yourself as if you’re almost an unconcerned third party.
You’re no longer trapped in anxiety and instead of making bad decisions, you can now enter in a solution mentality because your mind is thinking more clearly.
As the fear dissolves, you start to feel calm… which leads to an inner peace… which leads to a sense of freedom…
A spiritual freedom.
No longer are you controlled by this emotion called “fear”.
You have your mind back and are able to actually face the events that brought the fear up to begin with.
Instead battling your mind’s endless doomsday scenarios, you’re now acting effectively upon the correct solution.
To embrace fear and let go is a learning process. It takes time and inner searching to become good at this.
Don’t get frustrated when you become engulfed in the familiar anxiety the next time you’re hit with a challenging situation.
Just bring your mind back into “rightness” and each time thereafter, the time it takes to calm yourself will diminish.
