Finding Inner Peace
I'd like to share a few ideas on what you can do when working on finding inner peace. Discovering this stillness inside of you is vital to helping you achieve abundance in all areas of your life.
You're sure to encounter challenges with your health, finances and personal growth. Being able to quiet your mind in peace will allow you to overcome all the obstacles you face.
Below are just some simple ideas that can get you into the mindset that's necessary for finding inner peace, awakening to your inner voice and achieving abundance.
Finding Inner Peace Take A Walk
This may sound too simple to you, but it works! Making the time to take a walk by yourself is extremely valuable to your higher self. It's a time to reflect and think and dig deep within for answers to anything that may be getting in the way of your journey toward true inner peace.
I love what Ralph Waldo Emerson had to say about walking:
"I think it is the best of humanity that goes out to walk. In happy hours, I think all affairs may be wisely postponed for walking."
Finding Inner Peace Higher Self Guidance
If you're struggling with a decision, you may want to try releasing the decision-making process to your higher self. Rather than continuing to struggle, allow yourself to let go of the thinking process.
Say to your inner self, "I release this decision to you. I allow you to decide for me."
Then, put it out of your conscious mind. Let it go. You may be very surprised what this simple inner peace technique will do for you. Somehow, the answer comes. It can come in a sudden thought, a passage you read in a book, something someone says to you, etc.
This helps in your efforts at finding inner peace because you create a calm, stillness inside when you leave the problem to your higher consciousness, or awareness. It helps to unburden you.
Finding Inner Peace The Loving Presence
This is very simple to do. Invest an entire day seeing the "loving presence" in everyone you come into contact with. Instead of any normal judgemental thoughts you may commonly allow yourself to think, remember that we're all a part of the same energy.
When you judge, you separate yourself. When you look for the spiritual energy and good in others, you become one. It dissolves any conflict or anxiety inside. Others pick up on your energy. It helps create inner peace inside you.
Notice only the good that others bring into the world.
Finding Inner Peace Be Silent
Sometimes when I sense that fear is getting the best of me and I'm allowing worried thoughts to enter my mind, I focus on just being silent. I get away from the TV, radio, traffic and focus on my inner self. I focus on the eternal part of me that has no use for day-to-day troubles.
I recommend you try this as well. Silence is powerful. Shut off your mind. It's comforting to find that "vastness" inside yourself where things slow down and it's peaceful.
This is another technique for focusing on the present moment that I often discuss. It gets you centered on living inside "now", rather than yesterday or tomorrow.
Finding inner peace is important to your happiness and abundance. In fact, I don't feel it's possible to be fulfilled without exploring and discovering your inner, higher self. Here's a passage from the "Yoga Vasistha" that explains this idea better than I can:
"This worldly life is not conducive to true happiness, So reach the state of equanimity In which you will experience peace, bliss, and truth. If you stay within the unsteady mind, Then there is no peace, there is no happiness."
One definition of equanimity is, "The quality of being calm and even-tempered; composure".
Finding inner peace is reaching the state of equanimity, where you'll experience happiness and abundance.
Change your life,
Matt
