We all go through periods in our lives where things just don't seem to be going right. You may have been working hard on something, whether it be at work, a relationship or your general life abundance plan.
All of sudden, everything can seem hopeless. It feels like you'll never accomplish your goals. Bookmark this page and re-visit it for ideas on how to gain self confidence back for yourself.

How to Gain Self Confidence Idea #1 Admit It
You just have to admit to yourself that you've lost some self confidence. It's time to build your self confidence back up. But that can't happen if you're in denial.
This sounds simple, but it can be tough. Sometimes when I'm working on my writing, for example, I get lost for words. I know what I want to say but it just won't come out right. I start to lose some confidence and worry that I'll never get it right.
Instead of relaxing, I stubbornly try to keep on going without a break. Only when I admit I need to check my own ideas on how to gain self confidence back do I start to get anywhere.
How to Gain Self Confidence Idea #2 Take A Break
Get away from everything for awhile. When your mental or physical energy has left you, it needs to be re-energized. Sometimes time away allows your brain to think of solutions.
How to Gain Self Confidence Idea #3 Re-Focus
When you feel ready to get back at it, focus your mind on one easy task that you can accomplish relatively quickly in order to feel success again. I learned this from a quote I found by John Goddard, a famous explorer:
"When I get stuck, I restart myself by focusing on one goal I can finish in the next seven days - something simple. I don't think about anything else - that usually starts my momentum again."
How to Gain Self Confidence Idea #4 Ask
If it's taking longer than you'd like for you to regain your focus, simply ask for it. You may be wondering who you ask for this help ;-)
You ask yourself for permission to gain the self confidence you need in order to continue on your goal of bettering a relationship, finishing a project, etc. - feeling that abundance again!
Here's when it's important to have been working on your spiritual growth.
Let me go back to my writing slump example again. If I'm really having difficulty getting back into the writing groove, I remind myself of why what I'm writing about is so important to me.
I tap into the power of now. I clear my mind of yesterday's struggles and tomorrow's worries and focus all my energy on my present moment in time. It always helps bring me a feeling of inner peace when I remember this spiritual aspect of abundance.
It calms me down, helps me re-focus and brings back my self confidence.
Follow these how to gain self confidence ideas when you need them. It's nothing too difficult to do, it's just a process you must take yourself through to get over the hump.
Change your life,
Matt
