I'm angry.. too often

I don't have the patience to meditate and yet at times I am very calm and highly composed - I get angry too easily... always have.

My history is one of neglect + abuse (childhood) and I fear I will take this anger into my old age (am 45)

How can I calm my restless and impatient mind... it seems so hard to meditate.

Any help gratefully received.

Hi there, I have visited this website and got in touch with Matt since I have his job amazing and the Inner Peace section and quotations as key for anyone in a situation like yours.

This is one nice quotation which I can now recall: " A Lasting Step in Overcoming Fear. When Overcoming Fear is Your Goal, Stop Trying to do so by Searching for Answers in a World Dominated by Fear and Anxiety… Look Within for Inner Peace.

Thing is, to start feeling positive, you need to start thinking positive. A day like hell you have to throw it away so it never comes back.

Perhaps you would like to check on the inner peace quotations. As well I recommend you tai chi as an art, it is always good to get together with wise people(wisdom, something I really admire) to help our way. Tai chi like almost any kung fu style helps you ease your mind, learn, and grow as an individual.

Finally, I recommend you some fitotherapy, some natural infusions will be 100 times better to ease your mind than remedies.

Anyway, I hope this helps you a bit. I will try and keep posted. Take care.
