On the other hand, when your house is a mess, it only adds stress.

Just the thought of your cluttered home can cause you to want to stay away. When you're in your messy house, it becomes stressful looking at it all.

Instead of feeling refuge, you're constantly reminded of how much needs to be done. Everywhere you look, you see a situation that doesn't "sit right" within you.

I'm a firm believer that an organized home creates a soothing atmosphere and fills you with a sense of inner peace. You see cleanliness and order all around you and it, in turn, fills you with a sense of abundance and creates a self motivating attitude.

Instead of coming home, feeling immediately defeated, and plopping in front of the TV feeling unmotivated, your organized home will help you feel uplifted.

Organizing your home results in you feeling positive inside. When you feel calm and "ordered", you feel empowered. When you feel empowered, you feel confident.

And when you feel confident, you get things done. You work on your goals, you read, you exercise, you turn off the TV, etc.

And when you take action on that which is important to you, you begin to realize the abundance you seek.

Just Get Started
If you're sitting in the middle of an unorganized home right now, it's time to do something about it. I know that the hardest part is just getting started.

Instead of trying to do it all in one day, decide how much time you have each day to do a little. If you only have 15-20 minutes each evening, then do that. If you'd rather take a full day over a couple of weekends or so, do that.

Do whatever works best for you, but get started today!

Also, be sure to reward yourself once each section is done. Make it fun by anticipating an enjoyable activity.

Never underestimate the importance of organizing your home in terms of how it affects your feelings of empowerment.Some people even become like hermits because they're so embarrassed by how their home looks. They end up hiding there, not allowing anyone in.

Don't become like this.

Understanding the importance of organizing your home is the first step. Once you take action and turn your home into your own personal and safe santuary, you'll be amazed what it does for your life in many other areas.

Remember, achieving life abundance is ultimately about how you feel inside and how empowered you feel to demand a great life for yourself.
