Inner Peace and Abundance

Why is the concept of seeking inner peace and abundance so important?

There's probably a million reasons why, depending on who you're talking to.

I'll give you four that came to my mind immediately after hearing the question asked.

Happiness

Life Purpose U First of all, I equate inner peace with happiness. If you're filled with inner anxiety and anguish, you most likely wouldn't describe yourself as a very happy person, would you?

If you desire a life of happiness and contentment, you need to tackle the issues that prevent that from happening.

  • What is in your life that causes your feelings of anxiety or unhappiness?
  • What's preventing you from achieving a peaceful mind?
  • What causes you to be in a constant "upset" mentality?
  • What needs to be in your life that's lacking right now?
  • Emotional Healing - Why do you still struggle to attain it?

As is always the case in self-discovery, you must go within yourself for these types of answers that will lead to how to find inner peace for yourself.

Know Who You Truly Are

The entire process of achieving inner calm is one of searching inside yourself and discovering who you really are. When you strip away all the material aspects of your being and search your higher self, your inner truth, you begin to be filled with a sense of peace.

You realize that maybe you don't need as many material "things" you always thought you did. You become a more spiritual being as you deal with the realities of day-to-day living..

You achieve tranquility and wisdom.

I like the following quote from Paramahansa Yogananda.

I think it sums up the reality of how we must balance our inner and outer lives:

"The material and the spiritual are but two parts of one universe and one truth. By overstressing one part or the other, man fails to achieve the balance necessary for harmonious development... Practice the art of living in this world without losing your inner peace of mind. Follow the path of balance to reach the inner wondrous garden of Self-realization."

Spiritual Wellness

As you learn how to live your life without neglecting your inner self, you begin to "get well" spiritually. As Paramahansa Yogananda implies, how can you live a life full of happiness and abundance if you center all your attention on material gains?

If you take the time to reflect, meditate, think and listen to your inner voice, you'll begin to heal whatever part of your spiritual you that you know is lacking at the moment. It's extremely important to develop your spiritual health.

Focusing on finding inner peace will help your spiritual wellness.

Calmness

Life Purpose U Living a life of calm has been an especially wonderful result of my own pursuit of inner peace and abundance.

It's a great feeling to understand that I don't need to fall into the trap of feeling anxiety or getting stressed out every time something doesn't go the way I'd like it to.

I hope you can achieve this inner calm state of mind. In the past, when things went wrong, I'd look for where I could place blame and for who or what I could direct my anger.

Does that sound familiar to you?

You can change all that by finding a peaceful place and taking time to learn how inner peace and abundance can materialize in your life.

You can stay calm even as things may be going "hay-wire" in your physical world.

Some people think I mean that having a deep sense of inner calm and peace of mind means they'll have to sit around all day, doing nothing and being lazy. This is not the type of inner peace I'm talking about.

Once again, let me point you to Paramahansa Yogananda for some perspective on this:

"To be calmly active and actively calm — a Prince of Peace sitting on the throne of poise, directing the kingdom of activity — is to be spiritually healthy. Too much activity makes one an automaton and too much calmness makes one lazy and impractical. Peace is the enjoyment of life; activity is the expression of life. A balance between the activity of the West and the calmness of the East is needed."

Living in fear and anxiety is not necessary.

Living a life of inner peace and abundance is absolutely attainable for you.

Allow your inner light to shine. Read quotes on inner tranquility.

Change your life,
