Will You Listen To Your Inner Voice?
Your inner voice is trying to help you. Do you listen? Really listen?
You definitely need to start looking within yourself for answers if you find that you're constantly feeling confused and anxious.
Did you know that your outer voice can be a good starting point to begin providing those answers? Keep in mind that the words you express and your over-all attitude are a direct extension of the thoughts you allow to fill up your mind.
You can begin to dig deeper as soon as you really understand how your thoughts relate to your emotional state and what manifests in your life.
When you dig deeper within yourself, you begin to hear your inner voice. Your inner voice is much deeper than the thoughts of the mind. It’s more spiritual in nature. Think of it like your life guidance system.
Sometimes you’ll find that this inner voice communicates to you in a subtle way where you just have a “feeling”. Maybe it’s to remember a birthday or that little reminder to call a good friend.
It can be a much "louder" signal at other times. You may feel a nagging feeling that there's something in your life begging for your attention. This could be why you’re having those anxious feelings.
Many people stay in this state of confusion and never take time to sit and start to really figure out what these inner feelings are trying to say. Don’t fall into this same trap.
Now, it's time to go to another level with this. I want you to ask yourself whether you're seeing your life from your ego's outlook or from the perspective of your higher soul?
When you think from your ego's point of view, you'll find you make decisions that create turmoil. Your higher self makes your ego insignificant. Therefore, your ego is afraid of your higher self and does everything possible to make you feel insecure and inadequate.
Your inner voice lets you know that you're OK just the way you are. It's OK to accept yourself as you are and then work on improving yourself in a healthy way.
You'll know when your higher self is guiding you. It's when you experience feelings of inner peace and abundance.
Pay attention to these moments. Really listen. Your inner voice will offer it's own words of spiritual encouragement to you. Your inner soul is telling you what you need in order to avoid all the inner turmoil... how to live in peace with yourself.
As soon as this happens, your ego tries to step in and negate everything your spiritually-inclined inner voice is trying to help you understand.
- The ego is talking when you think you don't measure up or are worthless.
- It's talking when it's telling you that you have to constantly be "on the go".
- It tells you that there's no time to reflect and understand the spiritual you.
Your ego wants you to live a hurried life. One where you mult-task and have a trillion things going at once, so you can't threaten it with spiritual thoughts of inner peace and abundance.
But you know that inside there's this tiny little voice you push away. Your inner voice whispers to you that this rushed lifestyle isn't what makes you feel fulfilled inside. If you keep ignoring it, you'll become more miserable over time.
Take the effort to put aside time to be alone without interruption. It could be meditation. It could be going for a walk. I get in touch with my inner voice sometimes when I go running. It's just me, my inner thoughts and the world.
Whatever will work for you, find it. Your inner voice will enlighten you on what you need in order to feel inner peace and abundance, if you allow it to. Quiet your mind and listen. It's possible to experience inner peace and still live a productive, prosperous life. It's a choice you make.
Change your life,
Matt
