Investing in Tax Liens - Lessons in Making Money Through Foreclosures
As foreclosures rise, investing in tax liens may be a strategy you want to pursue if you desire to earn money through real estate investing.

When mortgage payments are delinquent, real estate tax bills become delinquent with them. This in turn causes a cash flow problem for local governments. For this reason, the local government allows an investor to pay the taxes in return for the government property tax lien.
This gives cash flow to the local government and buys more time for the homeowner to find the money they need to pay off the delinquent tax bill.

To be fair, Steven Waters has put together a quality program on how to become successful with tax liens. It gives you everything you need to get started, but it won't make you money all by itself. You'll need to "learn as you go". You'll need to gain experience by "doing".
