If so, you’ve most likely never invested any quality time in looking within for the answers to your life purpose. Having and living a life that translates into self-fulfillment requires an effort on your part to understand exactly why you were placed here on Earth. The challenge most of us face as we journey through life is that there are a multitude of people, thought processes, and events that pull us in various directions. Your parents most likely influenced you to lead a certain life, as did society in general. Whether or not this direction was the one you really yearned for inside may not have been something you seriously considered. Then one day, you wake up with a feeling of emptiness and find that life has no meaning for you. You’re simply going through the motions, living almost zombie-like as you stumble through each day. Although there are some people who seem born with their life mission already at the forefront of their minds, you weren’t so lucky. You know you were meant for something bigger, but you just can’t seem to lock on to what it is you’re supposed to be doing with your life. 1 FREE E-Course & 2 FREE Special Reports. Privacy Policy Let’s look into a few activities you can use to unlock your life purpose and stop your dreaded feelings that tell you life has no meaning. First, take a look at the types of subjects you’ve always been passionate about. Have you always found yourself pulled toward animals? Or maybe arts, crafts, music or poetry bring passion into your soul. What about business, education, teaching, etc? Begin making a list of that which makes you feel magical inside. Secondly, list all the activities you like to take part in. Rather than general subject areas, now begin thinking about the tangible activities you love, such as painting, writing, playing a certain sport, boating, racing, singing, cooking, reading, gardening, etc. Thirdly, look within and pull out all those things you’re naturally good at. What talents and skills have you been good at all your life? What comes easy to you? Additionally, you may have become very good at certain skills because you’ve had experience in them over the years. Lastly, begin to list out everything that is important to you. This time, you want to focus more on issues that impact the world in general, rather than only thinking on a personal level. What’s important to you as it pertains to things such as worldly causes, events, situations, people, animals, groups, etc? When you start to work on these issues, you’ll find that you’ll stop thinking life has no meaning. Look for patterns between your four lists. Look for connections. What keeps popping up? Although this is only the first step toward identifying your life purpose, you should begin to find a sense of hope. As you travel through life, your natural talents have been given to you to help you navigate toward your destination, which are the things that are most important to you. Because you have passion regarding the things you love to do and the things that are most cherished by you, you’ll have plenty of fuel to keep on going. Life has no meaning when you haven’t committed to that which is most important and passionate to you in a way that brings tangible benefits to the people around you. You’ll be able to impact the world when you figure out how to work through the activities you love to do, which use your natural talents in the process.
