Manifesting Abundance by Not Obsessing About Manifesting Abundance
I was reading an article about manifesting abundance recently and was struck suddenly with how our thought processes change over time.
I find it fascinating that the more I grow as a person who's paying attention to his spirituality, the more I understand that abundance occurs when you truly end the "judgment" mentality.
You may or may not feel the same way, but I find that the most difficult thing in trying to tap into our authentic "spiritual selves" is overcoming our ego.

I've written in the past about the ego and how easily it gets in the way of manifesting abundance.
It's the comparisons to others that cause so much grief inside your mind... when you judge yourself in terms of what others have or are all about.
As you focus on manifesting abundance in your life, I hope that the following words from a book I'm reading called "A New Earth" (by Eckhart Tolle) offer you insight:
"The ego tends to equate having with Being: I have, therefore I am. And the more I have, the more I am. The ego lives through comparison. How you are seen by others turns into how you see yourself...
"You need others to give you a sense of self, and if you live in a culture that to a large extent equates self worth with how much and what you have, if you cannot look through this collective delusion, you will be condemned to chasing after things for the rest of your life in the vain hope of finding your worth and completion of your sense of self there." p. 45
Tolle goes on to say that rather than trying to let go of your attachments to "things", just start by becoming aware of your attachments.
He says that the beginning to transforming your consciousness in this matter is the thought, "I am the awareness that is aware that there is attachment."
I agree with this thought process and believe it's essential to actually manifesting abundance.
I find that abundance appears more easily in my life as I become aware of my attachments to accumulated "stuff".
How about you?
Can you become aware of how you identify with things? How you almost feel like you are those things? Do you feel like a part of yourself would be lost if you didn't have those possessions anymore?
Manifesting abundance happens when you deeply internalize that you'd still be you even without the bank account, house, car, big screen TV, cool job, perfect friends, etc.
When you realize the inner essence of yourself, it's funny how all the material stuff actually shows up more readily in your life.
I think that "stuff" shows up because it knows you really aren't depending on it to feel self worth anymore ;-)
Change your life,
Matt
