Develop Your Mind and You'll Learn The Power Of Your Mind

Your mind is more powerful than you can imagine.

Your mental state sets up the reality you live in each day of your life, as your skills follow belief.

This is a foreign idea to many people.

You must internalize how the power of positive thinking will bring you positive results. Negative results will come from negative thinking.

Keep this at the forefront of your thoughts as you work at living a life of abundance and experiencing a mentality of peace.

If financial abundance is important to you, pay close attention to your thinking when it comes to money. Do you come from a mentality of "lack" or "abundance" in relation to money? If your mental state is one of "lack", you've just found the biggest reason as to why you struggle financially.

Develop a well trained mental state when it comes to your spirituality, also. Being open to all religious ideas and thoughts will help you discover the real you inside.

Deciding to be negative about religious or spiritual ideas just because you weren't "brought up" with them is going to close you off from true spiritual freedom and abundance.

Free your mind of spiritual fear.

"Even a thought, even a possibility, can
shatter and transform us."

- Friedrich Nietzsche

Nothing will help lead you to abundance more than an open mind and realizing the benefits of critical thinking.

The way you think is greatly influenced by your past and the input you allow into your brain. Your resulting thoughts then influence the emotions you feel.

Much of the pain you feel in the present is a result of your past. You identify with past events as if they're happening right now. What you need to realize is that your past is not your present. Or your future for that matter.

It's time to develop a mental toughness where you almost forget you had a past. Obviously, your past will always be there. But it's this identity you place on it that causes so much pain.

This is more of a spiritual matter, but you need to think in terms of Now, not yesterday.

Develop a well trained brain that can turn its thoughts off so you can tap into the present moment. Only in the present moment can you experience true inner peace and freedom from thought.

Freedom from your incessant thinking is the key to enlightenment and mental tranquility, as the following wisdom quote alludes to:

"Whenever you are able to observe your mind, you are no longer trapped in it. Another factor has come in, something that is not of the mind; the witnessing presence."
- Eckhart Tolle

Aside from your past, the input you allow to influence your thinking is of great importance to your mental state. Be aware of what you "feed" your subconscious mind.

There's a big difference in input between a daily dose of TV Land re-runs and a good spiritual or personal growth book! What are you allowing in?

"You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations in what you can do except the limitations of your own mind."
- Darwin P. Kingsley

How seriously do you take the power of your mind to affect your life? I hope the thoughts you'll find in this section of my site will inspire you to gain control of your thinking, rather than having it control you.

"Deep within man dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish him, that he never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize his life if aroused and put into action."
- Orison Swett Marden

"Ordinary people believe only in the possible. Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible."
- Cherie Carter-Scott

Change your life,

Matt
