A Peaceful Place Can Help You Find Silence
Yes, you really can find inner peace, and discovering a peaceful place can go a long way in helping you create a peaceful mind.
Although true inner peace means you can experience inner stillness even standing in the middle of a freeway at rush hour, it takes time to develop to this stage. In the beginning, finding a peaceful place where you feel safe can do wonders for you.
When you haven't developed your spirituality yet, your environment can wreak havoc with your higher self. In time, you'll learn how insignificant that which is going on around you really is.
In order to help you develop a peaceful mind, it can be helpful to find a peaceful place where you can be free from all outside disruptions and distractions. Being able to go completely within yourself to find silence is the key.
"Stop talking, stop thinking, and there is nothing you will not understand. Return to the root and you will find meaning. Look inward, and in a flash you will conquer the apparent and the void." - Seng T'san
Until you develop this ability to a master level, find a calming place that will aid you in following Seng T'san's advice - stop talking or even thinking.
Your peaceful place could be out in the wilderness, it could be near a pond, up in the mountains, or just out back next to your pool. Wherever you can be allowed to relax and develop a peaceful mind, find it.
Here you'll be able to practice shutting down your inner dialogue and the quieting of your mind. Here you'll be able to begin to sense the actual presence of God, or the eternal energy.
The point of doing this is so that you can bring back peace from the silence. The "noise" in our lives is what gives us conflict. You'll never be rid of this conflict (as long as you wish to live and interact with others). This is why you must go within, be at one with God, and bring back inner peace.
Silence isn't "Golden". Silence is Everything. Silence is God.
"Silence is the only Voice of our God… All profound things and emotions of things are preceded and attended by Silence." - Herman Melville
Find that peaceful place where you can discover a peaceful mind and bring back inner peace.
Change your life,
Matt
