Your Personal Growth Development

Your habits will make or break your personal growth development.

Very simply, the routine activities you do every day are your habits. The time you get up, what you normally eat for breakfast, the route to work, your lunch, your dinner, your TV schedule and when you go to bed - all habits.

If you're going to move forward in your personal growth development and achieve a life of abundance, you need to take a serious look at whether you have developed habits to lead you there.

Life abundance doesn't happen because you take time out once a month or so to think about it. It happens because you do something on a consistent basis that, over time, leads you there.

If you're miserable and feel your personal development is going nowhere, you must take a hard look at what you're doing on a daily basis.

Remember, almost everyone talks about the importance of personal growth development. But few turn off the television and schedule some alone time in order to evaluate whether or not personal growth is actually being accomplished.

Some people do follow good personal growth development habits in one area of their lives, but neglect the rest. If you're seeking a life of abundance in all areas, as I am, you'll need to work on all areas.

You can't spend all day at the office and expect your relationships at home to flourish. On the other hand, if you never develop solid eating and exercise habits, how long will you be around for your loved ones?

See the balance you must carve out in your life? Every habit you've developed is bringing you closer and closer to your ultimate future. Very simply, ask yourself whether it's the future of life abundance you desire, or not?

Let's back up a bit and define a habit. A habit is an activity you've gotten so used to doing that it hardly requires any thought.

If you've developed the habit of coming home from work and sitting right down in front of the TV with a bag of chips each day, you'll find it just happens without much thought - day after day after day...

On the other hand, if you happened to develop a personal growth development habit of coming home, exercising for a half hour to an hour, sitting at the table for a family talk over dinner, and then watching just one favorite show later on, you'll find it takes no more work or thought than the "couch potatoe" habit.

Once developed, both habits become automatic and easy to do, although the second habit I described will obviously help you arrive at a much different future than the first one, right?

If your ultimate goal is life abundance, put together a personal growth development plan that includes productive habits and abundance will be yours in time.

Laziness? Just a habit. A get-up-and-go type mentality? Just a habit.

You have the power to decide which one you'll use in your personal growth development. Only you can make the choice on which way to think.

Develop terrible financial habits, expect terrible bank statements in the mail. Develop sound financial habits, expect the opposite. It goes for everything:

- Your relationships
- Your spiritual growth
- Your health

Quite liberating, I think. Your destiny is completely in your hands through the choices you make today, tomorrow and the next day. Don't worry if yesterday and the day before, you had zero quality personal growth development habits.

The fantastic part about this personal development stuff is you can decide right now to change. Do so, and achieving life abundance is right around the corner for you!

"It's so hard when comtemplated in advance,
and so easy when you do it."

- Robert M. Pirsig

Change your life,
