Are you looking for the secret of abundance? The one thing that will help you live the life of your dreams - one where you feel inner peace throughout each moment?
You think to yourself, "If someone would just tell me the answer, I'll be able to transform my life into one of happiness, joy, success... "
Well, here's the thing. I don't believe there's only one secret of abundance. An abundant life can be attained through many ways or actions.
But I want to center on an area that's very close to being that one special key.
Live in the Now. Achieving this "state of being" will take away much of your misery.
Think about it. When you worry, are you thinking about what you're doing at this precise moment or are you thinking about something you already did or have to do at some later point in your future?
Or are you worrying about some awful thing that may happen? By the way, that awful thing will probably never happen :-)
If you ask me to pick just one abundance secret, I pick this idea of living in the now. Much of my reading on inner peace centers around this secret of abundance:
Always be completely in the moment.
Stop living in your past or future.
This isn't to say I'm always successful in changing this basic human element of myself, but when I am, I experience complete joy and abundance.
I urge you to invest time in learning how to accomplish this.
There was a study a few years back that asked people in their "golden years" to reflect on their lives. 90% of them said they wished they had risked more, lived more, experienced more, etc. You can only do all that by focusing on each moment you are in.
Not only that, but in his book, "The Holographic Universe", Michael Talbot describes studies done on people who've experienced "near death experiences" (NDE). Over and over, these people describe going through a "life review". Here's a direct quote from the book:
"It's like climbing right inside a movie of your life," says one NDEer. "Every moment from every year of your life is played back in complete sensory detail. Total, total recall. And it all happens in an instant."
Another NDEer says, "The whole thing was really odd. I was there; I was actually seeing these flashbacks; I was actually walking through them, and it was so fast. Yet, it was slow enough that I could take it all in."
Ever hear the expression, "My whole life flashed before my eyes"? Sounds like a life review to me :-)
Talbot goes on to explain how these people feel regret over "failed dreams and aspirations - things they had hoped to accomplish during their life but had not".
So you see, in both life and death, you'll eventually come to regret living your life outside of NOW. Actually, you're always in a state of misery or pain if you keep focusing on yesterday or tomorrow, right?

Pay attention to this abundance secret.
If you can tap into the moment.
If you can focus your energy on doing what most matters right now, you're on your way to achieving life abundance.
For example, if you're struggling with losing weight, stop worrying about it.
Tap into the power of this very moment.
Quiet your mind of whatever limiting or destructive thoughts that are preventing you from realizing your goal.
What's most important at this very moment if you want to lose weight? How about just getting started with the first step - maybe it's designing a new menu of healthy food you'll enjoy eating, or an exercise program you know will work for you, etc.
Living totally inside each moment is a very important secret of abundance. Master it and watch all areas you're striving for abundance in begin to materialize for you.
By the way, you may find that some of the things you think you must achieve or "get" become unimportant to you. The feeling of inner peace you feel in this state helps you realize a feeling of "simpleness".
You understand that all the trappings of success may not be what you really are striving for. You may find that a simple life with a feeling of inner peace is all you want or need.
Then again, you may find the energy required to go get your own vision of success :-) We're all different. We all have a differing view on what spiritual and material success means.
If you'd like to tap into the secret of abundance called "living in the now", I recommend you start with two sources to begin the understanding process:
- "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle, and
- "Your Sacred Self" by Wayne W. Dyer
They both help you begin to quiet your mind so you can just "be in the moment". Dyer's book, especially, will lead you to further resources to help you further understand this whole "secret of abundance" process.
I hope you'll use these tools (this audio is a great "mind tool"), learn the secret of abundance and begin to understand true bountifulness and inner peace.
