Humankind is Currently Lost They've lost their way. Instead of looking within in order to figure why there's violence and terror in the material world, they try to place blame elsewhere. Many people have become lost in a mentality that worships excess. The goal is to accumulate and acquire as much "stuff" as possible. Mass consumption is the name of the game, as well as a constant need for entertainment. The idea that we're all separate from one another breeds fear, hatred, and violence in certain circles. A great spiritual awakening is needed (and I believe in the making) in order to deliver us from this type of human existence. When people understand how much their minds have been destructively molded by the world's power elite... When people understand how connected we truly are... When people understand the futility of looking for happiness in the next shiny, new product... When people understand that the very violence they wish wasn't a part of our reality is really a result of each individual's own concept of separateness (which breeds a severe inner fear), then we'll begin to see real change. Your deep fear of others is the source of fear that then pervades the governments that build the arms to go and use against other nations that are falsely perceived as major threats. Understanding where the pain actually originates (within each individual) is the understanding that will bring the various peoples of the world together in spiritual and physical harmony. Until mankind as a whole looks within and faces the cause of all human suffering, that suffering will continue. I, however, believe with everything within my soul that more and more people are actually looking within, understanding the true Source of love and understanding, and are the ones creating a new spiritual enlightenment.
