Your Spiritual Growth Journey

Spiritual growth can mean a lot of different things to different people.

I'm going to discuss it from my point of view - that it's a deeply personal quest for self discovery and what our true selves really are.

As I look back at my time on this planet and reflect on my ideas regarding my spirituality and belief system, I come to the self realization that those thoughts and ideas have changed immensely over the years. I'm sure yours have, too.

I've struggled a bit with how to structure this area of my site. I've concluded there will be no structure. I will simply add pages as new thoughts come. Over time, you'll have an abundance of daily spiritual insights, spiritual quotes, and words of encouragement you can benefit from.

I'll be leaving specific religions out as I believe religion is a human way of putting all this into some kind of concrete way to understand. Let me offer you a quote by Michael Ray from his book, "The Highest Goal",

"Remember, it is ultimately an experience of resonance with a larger energy. Though people express it in different ways - connecting with God, merging with the absolute, being in flow with the Tao, enlightenment, doing God's work, being a channel for love and compassion, being conscious at all times, and finding and living from one's Self - they are talking about the same thing."

Here's a second spiritual quote along the same lines: listen to J. Krishnamurti,

"I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect... Truth, being limitless... cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path.

If you first understand that, then you will see how impossible it is to organize a belief. A core belief is purely an individual matter, and you cannot and must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystalized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others."

It doesn't matter what your religious background is. The ideas I'll express here will get to the heart of the message and spiritual overtone that all great "religious" leaders have been trying to get across for centuries.

Take the teachings and delve into your personal spiritual growth quest for your own life of spiritual wellness, inner peace and abundance.

I'm extremely open-minded. I'll read about or pay attention to any new idea regarding my spiritual health. My goal is to have a spirituality journal that will lead you on a successful spiritual journey full of inspiration. Here are a few of the ideas we'll discuss:

• We'll talk about the importance of living in the present moment. Unlocking the treasure of now is a key aspect of your spiritual growth. When you can leave your past behind and gaze into your true reality, you've taken an important step in achieving life abundance and inner peace.
• Listen to your inner voice. When you listen to your ego, you experience inner turmoil. When you listen to your higher self, you experience spiritual growth and inner peace. You live a life of abundance.
• You believe that you are your mind. Quiet your mind. Become the observer of your thoughts. As you master this spiritual growth talent, you experience a spiritual emergence.
• Is our reality really just an illusion?
• Sometimes spiritual growth takes patience.
