Attract Spiritual Inspiration By Staying Open To All Possibilities
What is spiritual inspiration?
To me, it's anything that:
- fills you up with emotion
- gives you spiritual insight
- helps you see the error of your ways
- helps you see that you're on the right path
- helps you with your next life decision
I guess this list could go on and on. Basically, I think spiritual inspiration is something to always be on the look-out for and is to be treasured. Sometimes, life-changing decisions can be made just because you're paying attention to all that can provide you the key information you need.
Live your life with an attitude of open-ness. Keep your heart open to everything and everyone you come into contact with. You never know when your next spiritual inspiration will hit you right between the eyes and help you in the next stage of your spiritual growth.
My chiropractor has the ability to see beyond my physical condition. He'll look at me and ask questions that just floor me. He'll be able to tell if I'm in a good place or struggling when it comes to my spirituality, my relationship with my wife, my financial thoughts, etc.
Once I asked him how he can tune into my spirit so accurately. He told me it's more about the fact that I'm so open. I don't close myself down. He said that other people are harder to "read" because they don't open themselves up.
The reason I told you that is because I want you to ask yourself this: Would a person with these abilities be able to "read" you or would you shut yourself off, too afraid to be vulnerable?
I hope you'd be open. Inspiration of the soul isn't to going to show itself to you very often if you're closed off spiritually.
"Without inspiration, the best powers of the mind remain dormant, there is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks." - Johann Gottfried Von Herder
So, where can you discover spiritual inspiration? I find it in a multitude of places, such as:
- a movie
- a passage in a book
- a website
- a quote
- a beautiful landscape
- a conversation with a loved one
- seeing the wonderment in a child's eyes when they see something new
Again, these are just a few places I've pulled spiritual inspiration from. There could be many other examples depending on who you are and what inspires wonderment and reflection in you.
Just make sure you're open to the possibilities that are around you every day.
"There never was a great soul that did not have some divine inspiration." - Marcus T. Cicero
Change your life,
Matt
